Our latest installation is here! Took a little longer than expected but we completed it this morning – believe it or not, it is over 500 flowers. It was lots of fun to do – thanks so much to my crew and volunteer installer!

In the same location as the last yarnbomb…it stayed up for a surprisingly long time! The doily one was the last to remain, so I decided to add some more to that side of the street. See more images here. Yo, it made the CBC website! Check out the link at news

We have yarnbombed the utility box! It was a lot of fun and adds a new dimension to the vinyl wrap images.

We have yarnbombed in 2D! Our yarnbombs (and those of our collaborators) have been used by the Urban Calgary Foto Kollective (with our permission) in a public art series in Calgary. It is a vinyl photo wrap of a traffic signal box, just off the corner of 4th Ave and 7th St SW along a cycling corridor. We are looking forward to yarnbombing the box in the near future – stay tuned!

Who says you have to yarnbomb the city? We went out to a provincial park in Alberta and left some pieces in nature. See more on the page ‘Elbow Falls’.

Stampede 100, July 12, 2012

It’s that time of year in Calgary when all things western are celebrated. For the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede, we decided to yarnbomb the statue of Outlaw, one of the most famous animals to ‘perform’ at the Stampede. In honor of all the animals and in honor of one of our sisters (whose birthday is today), we give you this yarnbomb! See more pics here
